You will need to understand the pain of building applications using connected vehicle data and how our product can help innovators create value and get to market fast.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In this role, you will interact with product and business thought leaders, provide technical design, and guide the technical vision of our platform. Your day will typically be split between working with our engineering and product teams. You will be a hands-on contributor and will have the responsibility to maintain technical expertise across the entire domain:

  • You will design, implement, and maintain large, distributed Java based applications and microservices that are cloud agnostic
  • Solve complex problems related to high performance, low latency distributed architectures
  • Champion and mentor engineering teams to deliver high quality product and services
  • Present technical vision to the executive, product, and support teams at frequent intervals


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE YOU HAVE OR WILL GAIN ALONG THE WAY

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 10+ years of experience in Java/Spring based applications and a minimum of 4+ years of architecture experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in aligning technical architecture with business expectations
  • Expertise in Java 8, Spring Boot, Restful Web Services
  • Experienced in Kafka and RabbitMQ clusters
  • Experienced in MongoDB and Cassandra
  • Good knowledge of designing low latency high ingestion systems.
  • Experienced in Kubernetes and Docker
  • Implementation of microservice and container strategies
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services
  • Experience across domains including technology, network, data and applications
  • Strong communication skills with ability to build positive relationships
